Who we are

Zimmerman's Construction was founded in the summer of 2000 by Donovan Zimmerman, who still owns and operates the business today. Donovan was raised in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania and is a proud graduate of Manheim Central High School. Donovan discovered his love for roofing at the age of 16, when he started working summers with his cousin and roofing contractor, Brian K. Zimmerman

The first project for Zimmerman's Construction was the construction of a new building for The Country Store in Mount Joy. Donovan laid the foundation for Zimmerman's Construction by contacting many local builders and contractors for roofing jobs. We have been blessed over the years by local builders, who have trusted us with their roofing needs. In recent years, we have shifted into undertaking more residential roofing jobs where we work one on one with customers.

Donovan and the crew have many years of experience in roof installation and repair ranging from metal and standing seam, to cedar shake, rubber, and asphalt roofing. Our team of experienced technicians can repair roof leaks, emergency roof damage, hail damage, blown-off shingles, worn or insufficient insulation, and even problems with roof underlayment.

We practice preventative maintenance on all the roofs we install or replace, to ensure that your roof is safe and leak-proof for years to come. This includes having a representative come out up to twice a year to check on your roof and address any underlying issues.
